Alisa Lewis, 200 RYT, is a certified, alignment-based yoga teacher. Over a decade ago, she found vinyasa yoga obliviously by agreeing to attend a yoga class with a friend. She had a memorable first class and was captivated by the sequence of poses and the vibe of “we’re in this together.” There were challenges, playful musings by the teacher, and something other than the physical part of the practice that allured Alisa to continue showing up to classes.

Alisa loves peace, harmony, and balance, and brings those aspects into her yoga offerings. While being an advanced yoga practitioner, Alisa’s teaching style is supportive to beginners and experienced yogis alike. She brings wisdom, intention, and a nerdy love of yoga to each class, hoping to provide moments throughout practice that foster understanding, delight and connection to self. She has been teaching at Form Yoga in Decatur, Georgia for several years and is excited to extend her yoga wisdom into leading retreats.

When Alisa is not teaching or practicing yoga, she might be working on a commercial interior design project, enjoying empty nest life traveling abroad, or going on a hike with her husband and rescue pittie, Butterbean.
