Farm House at Kaluna Farm Retreat

Kaluna Farm Retreat's Farm House is the original pioneer cabin that connects us to a rich history of plant people on this land. This cabin has been renovated to accommodate modern comforts while preserving the antiquity and raw beauty of the original structure. The Farm House boards and logs speak of seven generations of homesteaders who have made this their home. 

Sitting across from the spring fed creek, the Farm House has a lush yard filled with herbs and bamboo. Enjoy the view of the gardens from one of the covered porches while sipping your coffee or farm fresh tea. Immerse yourself into the beauty of the farm that surrounds this cabin. It is truly a  magical and relaxing experience. 

The Farm House has a large kitchen that easily seats 10+. Plan ahead with our farm crew, and you can cook up farm fresh meals while enjoying the seasonal flavors from our gardens. The kitchen has a nice sitting porch and access to an outdoor grill and fire pit by the creek. 

The old log room has a queen size bed and two twin beds. The upstair bedroom has four additional twin beds. There are also two twin pullout beds in the living room.

Come explore our 92-acre farm, or the 212-acre Talking Rock Nature Park next door. We are a good starting spot to hike the North Georgia mountains or explore the mountain towns of Ellijay, Jasper, and Blue Ridge.
